I am supposed to have an oral surgery for my wisdom teeth (both lower right and left). The cost of the surgery is about RM600 each if I were about to do it at the private clinic. Since I'm a government officer, with a GL, I could have the surgery for free. So I decided to do it at one of the government hospital, X.

So last week I went there for a consultation with the oral surgeon. Nak pergi ke hosptalX ni bukanlah senang. Dengan jam + parking yang teramat payah, pergilah jugak walaupun sesat langgat. Dah sampai hospital, baru je nak register, nurse tu tengok I'm wearing braces, terus je diye kate nak surat from my orthodontist.

I was quite blurred. Datang nak wat consultation with the surgeon untuk buang wisdom teeth. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that wisdom teeth yang nak dibuang ni have nothing to do with the orthodontics treatment that I'm currently undergone. Nak wat surgery tu tak kacau pun braces.

Sebab malas nak argue, so blah je lah. Luckily I was having an appointment that week so I told my orthodontist about the letter. My orthodontist pun agak terkejutlah sebab mintak surat, tapi diye buatlah jugak. Nice doc! Itu pun diye dah warned make sure jumpa oral surgeon sungguh-sungguh. Bukan sebarang orang bley perform the surgery.

Nak dipendekkan cerita, so semalam pergilah balik hospital X ni. Kebetulan ada member nak gi arah yang sama, so mintak tolong diye dropped kat hspital, and lepas settle urusan diye, datang ambil balik kat hospital. Masa nak register tu bagilah surat from my orthodontist. And guess what the nurse said? Since I brought a referral letter from a private clinic, I have to be charged RM30 for the registration. What???????? In the very first place, diye yang suh bawak surat without even let me to have consultation with the surgeon. Bile dah bawak surat, kena bayar lak. Adus! Geramnya.

So I asked her, GL ni untuk apa plak? Diye cakap untuk next treatment. Huh! Geram tapi sabar. Duduk je lah tunggu kat situ. Dah dekat setengah jam kot, tiba-tiba another nurse panggil. Hulur surat kena gi buat OPG (betul kot ejaan) kat hospital Y. The doctor needs to know the exact position of the impacted teeth.

Nak pergi ke hospital Y?? Hospital X can perform the surgery.. tapi tak ada x-ray untuk gigi? Lawak ke apa? Ingat senang ke nak ulang-alik dari X ke Y pastu suke-suke hati suh datang balik esok? So I told her, kalau nak x-ray tu, my orthodontist pun ada. Diye jawab kenapa tak bawak. I replied hari tu kate nak surat jek.

Nurse tu cakap tak apalah. Gi wat OPG tu kat hospital Y. Anytime available. Senang jek diye cakap eh? Saya cakap ngan diye, masalahnya saya kerja and saya kena attend kursus sampai next week. Bukan boleh kuar suke-suke ati. Then diye jawab balik, if saya bawak x-ray sekalipun, bukan boleh buat cepat. Kena q lah, ade patience ramai lagi lah.. bla..bla....

Hah. That's it. I keluar, called my orthodontist, and she tried to arrange me to have it done at dentistry PPUM. Under her friend's supervision. Right after that, my mom called. When she found out yang saya nak buat surgery dekat hospital gomen ni, terus kena khutbah. Well, sebab mak tak restu kan, memang dengan lega hati decide untuk tak pergi ke hospital X dah. Maybe selagi mampu, I'll go to private. Bukan nak memperlekehkan, tapi ini bukan first time kena macam ni dengan hospital gomen. So RM30 tu burn macam tu jek. Nak sangat duit, ambiklah.

Anyway, ari ni dapat good news dari FJ. Stigma, my first adult thriller will be published after Raya. La ni tengah wat layout nye. Alhamdulillah. Ni yang tambah semangat untuk buat adult fantasy yang juga tengah di dalam pembikinan, setelah PF4 siap tidak lama lagi hehe.......
